What is Sixpop?
Sixpop is for people to store their files in an online environment, giving them access to their files from anywhere.
How do I report a bug, problem or abuse?
If you encounter a bug, abusive behavior or other problem on the site, please use our Contact page to let us know what’s happening — We don't have a dedicated support team to respond as quickly as we'd like. But be patient, we will get to you.
Accounts
How can I report an abusive user?
For the time being, please contact us to report a user. Please provide the user’s username and any relevant links.
I tried to log in and was told that my account is invalid. What’s up?
You’ll need to contact us from the email address associated with your username so we can take a look into your account history.
How can I close my Sixpop account?
For the time being, you’ll need to contact us to have your account closed. Please note that your account’s files, submissions and comments will not be removed, per our Terms of Use
What information does Sixpop access when I connect a 3rd party (Twitter, Facebook, Google) account?
Never fear – we (the people at Sixpop) never see any of your personal information when we connect to one of these services. All connections are handled via the respective service’s API. Each service will request your explicit permission before providing us with the information we need to see if any of your connections or friends also have accounts on Sixpop.
Is it OK to have more than one account on Sixpop?
Well, that depends. If you’d like to maintain more than 1 account for business or personal use, that’s fine. However, please don’t use multiple accounts to Sixpop the same content – that goes against the spirit of our community.
Will my activity on the new Sixpop show up in search engines?
If you decide to have an open portfolio then any of your shared files and activity on Sixpop is public (except for hides and reports). Since Sixpop is crawled by search engines, this Sixpop activity is crawled as well.
The email address I used when I registered doesn’t work anymore, and I can’t access my account. What do I do?
If the email address you used when registering is out of date, contact us and we’ll do our best to get you set back up.
How can I change my username?
Username changes are done manually by our Support team as long as your preferred username is not already in use. You can request a username change by getting in touch with us via our Contact page (registered email address is required for security and privacy reasons).
Profiles
Can I make my profile and Sixpop activity totally private?
Sixpop is a media-storage site by definition, so sharing information isn't neccesasary. You can choose not to have anything shared publicly.
Where is the Logout button?
This can be found at the top navigation pane next to your profile icon. Just click on the arrow and you will find the Logout button in the drop-down menu.
